This weekend is the annual Manchester LGBT Pride festival, so expect the city centre to be busy with some road closures for the parade on Saturday.

The parade starts at midday on Saturday 24 August 2019 going down Deansgate, then Peter Street, ending up in the gay village area.

The rest of the event takes place at two venues:
– Manchester Pride Live at the former Mayfield Station site near Piccadilly with acts which include Ariana Grande
– Gay Village Party, in the gay village.
